The story of Team Schedule began with a team of seasoned SAP experts – each bringing many years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors integration and consultancy. Through listening to customer feedback, they identified an emerging trend: businesses across industries were struggling with time scheduling and shift management. SuccessFactors provides robust capabilities, yet users often seek additional flexibility to address the nuanced needs of complex industries.
For sectors like manufacturing, retail, hospitality, logistics, and energy, scheduling isn’t straightforward. Multinational businesses with 1000+ employees must manage multiple shifts across various locations, address employee availability and last-minute changes, and respond to external factors like demand fluctuations, weather, and regulatory compliance. Existing tools often fell short, creating inefficiencies, higher costs, and significant management challenges.
Recognizing this gap, the founding team developed Team Schedule – a lightweight, flexible extension designed specifically for SAP SuccessFactors. The architecture, designed by CTO Radoslav Asparuhov and Dimitar Dimitrov, a former SAP Vice President and lately known for being part of the €50M M&A deal that created Wiser Technology, became a cornerstone of Team Schedule’s success. Dimitrov, who co-initiated the project and later transitioned to the role of an investor, brought his technical expertise to create a solution tailored to business needs. Unlike existing tools that are often bloated with unnecessary features (also making them cumbersome and expensive), Team Schedule was co-created with customers to precisely complement SuccessFactors by addressing specific scheduling challenges without duplicating processes.
This customer-focused approach allowed Team Schedule to rapidly prove its value. One organization consolidated three separate systems into a single, integrated platform by implementing SuccessFactors with Team Schedule.
